Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed in principle to a contract with former Giants starting CB Will Peterson. Peterson is scheduled to fly to Philadelphia Monday to take a physical in order to finalize the deal, which is contingent on Peterson's passing the physical. Injuries and a sour relationship with Giants HC Tom Coughlin ended Peterson's tenure in New York in the middle of what was supposed to be the third-round draft pick's prime. Peterson played five seasons for the Giants, but two of the final three were hampered by injury. He was finally cut in May of 2006 after injuring his back in Week 3 and missing the remainder of the 2005 season. During his five seasons in New York, Peterson started 39 games and had five interceptions and 199 tackles.
