Derek Carr world tour thread (updated with combine visits)

Because that's how SP played it in Brees' final couple of years, and that approach seemed to carry over post-Brees.

It's like PC is used to that ultra-conservative style now or something and has never re-adjusted.

Watching the Super Bowl, and all the motion and creativity of those two teams made me feel like we have a park ball playbook.

I'm sure there are a lot of things that they wish they would have done differently. But, a lot went wrong last season. The offense was designed around a different QB then you had all the injuries, and that limits a lot of what you can do. But, one thing that just occurred to me is that Payton would always go over the game plan with Drew and find out what he was comfortable with. I would imagine Pete would do the same with AD. So, I think that part of it was all the turnover on offense and starting rookies or guys off the street, and Andy not being comfortable with the O-line or the guys he's throwing to. And combine that with confidence with the defense to keep the score low.

Pete's offense when he has the tools and QB, is very aggressive - 62 - 7. It's hard to put up 60 points in the NFL. Pete could have called off the dogs early in that game but kept piling it on. I might be in the minority or even the only one, but I'm actually kinda excited if the Saints can get Carr and somehow keep MT....and stay healthy.
