What other coaches really think about DA and the Saints.

No one here said DA is an idiot or not a nice guy. The general consensus is that he's at least a good defensive guy. What he isn't, nor what he hasn't been, is a quality head coach with the tools to lead a team. It doesn't help that he has basically the same demeanour of guy on the other side in Pete and they both just look overmatched and overwhelmed. When Payton was here that was fine, he was the Alpha and it was alright having them play second fiddle. Sean made the tough decisions, put them in positions that were needed and left the heavy stuff off their plate. I'm sure he's a likable guy, I'm sure he has a pretty good defensive mind. I don't think anyone is doubting that. He is what he is and a head coach he is not. The sooner Mickey and Gayle realize that the better off we and he will be.
