What other coaches really think about DA and the Saints.

I get that. But, when you combine that with things like DA and Carr staying in touch, and all the talk about DA being a head coach one day when he was still a DC under Payton, maybe he's a little better than some give him credit for. Honestly, I'm not ready to say one way or the other, yet. But I like his coaching hires, and I think the coaching staff is better this year than last year.
Totally agree. It's too soon to call it one way or the other. Going by what we saw last year and with the Raiders, no he doesn't seem like the ideal HC. But I'm going to meet him in the middle on last season. The man couldn't catch a break to save his life. The offseason was going relatively smooth and then boom, like a week before the opener things went sideways and didn't stop going sideways.

We'll see what he's capable of this year if the team has better luck with injuries. A healthy, more consistent O line and a full compliment of receivers is bound to help the QB regardless of who lines up under Center. And I have faith in him when it comes to the defense. They really battled through injuries and had that thing going the last 10 games of the season.
