I don't think expecting a winning season is being spoiled. Also, the whole premise of hiring DA was continuity, and Loomis is the one who put that expectation out there. This idea that we should except mediocracy is a losing mentality.

In music we've seen bands lose a key member and try to keep it together. Sometimes it works like with AC/DC but more often than not you're looking at a situation like The Doors without Jim Morrison or Skynyrd without Van Zandt. At best we're looking at Van Halen with Sammy Hagar.
