Derek Carr world tour thread (updated with combine visits)

I disagree, we are missing a good coach. This idea that Allen has what it takes to be a good coach is who is somehow Bill Bellick after four losing seasons and a career 28% winning rate will not get us to the big game.
The rule of thumb is that best coaches in the league are .500 without an elite QB. We are slightly under .500 at 8-9 If Ingram doesn’t go out of bounds. The great SP was slightly better than .500 with a 9-8 record, with the exact same team. Expecting DA to win the Super Bowl or go far into the playoffs with the QBs he had going into this season is ridiculous. ML knew this, which is why they went all in on Watson. Had DA been a terrible coach, our D would suck and we wouldn’t have won a single game this season. IMO, at this point, Da is at least good enough to win if he has a good/great QB. If your case is based off of his stint in Oak, then you'd have to admit that he has improved. However, Da has yet to prove that he can make the playoffs with a good QB. And SP also still has to prove he can make the playoffs without DB. The common dominator is a good/great QB. You must have one or you’re .500 like Belichick has been without TB12.
