Big picture. You are oversimplifying things. Winning the division, thats great. Many coaches have gotten fired after winning a division and bouncing out of the playoffs. It’s an accomplishment, but it doesnt make you a contender. It just makes you the least bad out of a bunch of bad teams. If winning the division is your new Super Bowl, then you should be fine.
