I have no idea how they get 'most likely' from "low confidence".
It's like taking a witness statement that they have no idea what color the getaway car was...it was dark, foggy and some dude kept shining a flashlight and saying "So it *was* a green car!"
More to the point, if it *did* come from a lab...Covid schmovid, it means the Chinese can turn a bat virus into a human virus without leaving any evidence of human manipulation. So good not even the top virologists in the world can tell.
