COVID-19 Outbreak Information Updates (Reboot) [over 150.000,000 US cases (est.), 6,422,520 US hospitilizations, 1,148,691 US deaths.]

The range of options of what to do is wildly different if we know its origin. From shutting down similar research around the world if its the product of an experiment gone wrong or doubling down on other research if we find the magic pangolin or whatever it might have been that bridged it to humans, or digging a whole lot deeper into our own (US) role in what was happening in the Wuhan lab - the range of next steps varies by about 180 degrees depending on the actual source.

'Oh well its over, China sucks, whatever, who cares where it came from,' seems like a very bad approach. Especially when people who should know better are trying to shut down any line of inquiry into the lab theory. Talk about "anti-science."

i am of the position that folks well above my pay grade are making plans/determinations as to what to do next.

We entrust our government to handle, as they see fit. If we dont care for results, we vote.
