Athleticism over Talent

So let’s point to one success story lol. How about Trey lance? Jordan love? Zach Wilson? Justin Fields? Do I need to go on? The most important trait is vision, anticipation, and accuracy, along with pocket awareness. Great if he’s mobile too that’s just even more upside.
More like 3 very recent success stories with Jackson, Allen and Hurts. Regardless of Jackson being recently injured, he’s still an MVP QB who wins games.

It’s only been 2 years and Fields hasn’t had any weapons around him. Love isn’t known for being a run first QB at all so he shouldn’t be mentioned, plus he’s never had a chance to play yet while Rodgers is still there. The only thing Love has in common is complexion, which doesn’t automatically mean they’re a run-first athletic QB.

Running QBs are not injured while running the ball as of late. Their injuries usually take place while in the pocket when they’re going through progressions to pass. A lot of times DL or LBs are landing their weight on QBs’ ankles, shoulders, knees or thighs while they’re throwing or avoiding pressure in the pocket. Those injuries have nothing to do with them being an “athletic” QB, but being a QB in general, which can happen to any QB like when Kentavius Street landed on Brees’ shoulder 2 seasons ago.
