Would be a terrible look for the Saints to let the whole world know how much of a priority they made Carr, and then to lose him when he was clearly the Jets’ second choice.
Also, this whole thing has gotten old. I don’t blame Carr for taking the best offer he can get. But to leak that it’s all about fit and winning and then to leak that the Jets are your first choice when you’re not their first choice? Rough.
