If the choice is between being "only pretty good" or "likely not very good", call me crazy, but I'm gonna go with pretty good. How did the draft work for Denver, for example? Have they even had a winning season since Peyton retired?
Interesting that you mentioned Denver, since they made a big splash QB acquisition last year that probably had all of the same arguments about becoming an instant contender by just upgrading the QB position.

Wilson had a better rating, net yards per attempt, and TD-INT ratio with Seattle than Carr had with the Raiders.
