Retreads are always a gamble. We haven't drafted a QB high in the draft in forever. And don't say they have to be in the top 5 to do it because Brees was 2nd round, Hurts was 53rd pick and Lamar Jackson was 32nd pick!

The team isn’t perfect at evaluation, no one is, but if Loomis and the team’s personnel department are fully convinced that Carr is indeed a “long term solution,” then for now, I think I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt.
