Richardson IMHO, will be way over drafted by a bad team. I see him as a big boom or bust player. Running QBs haven't won a super bowl yet. You want a QB w/ escape ability, but if you are counting a QBs rushing ydg, as production, you are making a foolish bet on a QB.

I think the scramble/escape thing is at the heart of the discussion. There is no such thing as a running QB; you have to be able to throw the ball consistently. The guys to do it are Steve Young and Russell, that's it. Hurts seems to be the closest of the recent crop, and Jackson supporters point out the lack of WRs with a limited passing system. The question with Richardson is whether he can get better, as Allen and hurts did. However, you can't depend on the team to help you because they will think short term.
