And I think even some of the most "positive" Saints fans are not delusional enough to believe that last year's roster was anywhere near as good as our championship winning 2009 SB roster, that is a ridiculous statement on it's face.

I think you said it all, “leap of faith”. I’m leaping as long as the Saints are fighting. Understand this, with all of the posturing that went along with obtaining Carr, and convincing him that we’re the better team than the Jets In potential. Some salesmanship may have taken place. Lol. With that said, you know darn well that ML and JI will scour FA and the draft to give him as many pieces as possible in all three phases. Had we not gotten Carr, then I could see them taking a less than enthusiastic approach. About 2009 roster, I don’t have the time to go thru it all. But DeMario Davis > Scott Fujita. If you’re interested in proving me wrong. Then continue where i left off and see how it shakes out.
