Nick Wright is not completely wrong. We are losing players due to our cap that is pushed back etc. It's pretty factual, we don't have a fountain of infinity cap.
We’re losing players that we don’t want to keep or don’t want to find a way to keep if it isn’t worth it. Any player that’s long term valuable to the team — skill and contract wise — the FO always find a way to re-sign them.
12 million a year across 3 years for a DT turning 31 and overpaying Tuttle isn’t really smart. It sucks to lose both at the same time, but they can be replaced in the first 3 rounds of the draft.
