The Playmaker Michael Irvin Pulled from All Super Bowl Coverage/NFL Network (09/14 EDIT: Irvin settles his defamation suit w/hotel, returns to NFLN)

Look guys, i've been married literally forever, so I'm not into the single scene at all.

I'm just trying to explain the position that so many guys seem to be complaining about.

If you are afraid a woman is going to take offense to you hitting on her, don't hit on women in situations where it isn't clear that she is looking to get hit on.

Otherwise, there is a chance that the woman is going to take offense. She absolutely has the right to take offense, or get pissy with you if you hit on her in the grocery store or she is at work. Most of them won't, but it's not the woman's fault, if she get's offended by your advances.

I guess you are going to have to just take the risk of being offensive. Just don't get all pissy when a woman acts like you are ruining her day, because if she decides you ruined her day, then you did.

Of course! And this is an outcome most people are familiar with when rejected. The situation here though that we are discussing involves this man potentially facing legal issues and essentially getting sent home from work, not to mention public ridicule.

Is all that warranted just because the woman he hit on happened to not be feeling him?
