I don't mind the stage system, and I don't even mind the caution between stages. What I don't like is having the laps between stages count. If a stage ends at lap 50 then the lap at the next green flag is 51.
I get that perspective but I’m okay with it. After the first green flies, all laps count - the only way laps don’t count is if they go to red. So I think it’s sensible to count the stage yellow laps.
