Totally agree with this - though not sure I know how to fix it. I think the best fix is stop throwing the damn caution for debris with just a couple of laps left. Car in the track, yes. Debris, no.
Well, I sort of get the safety aspect of it. Car tire goes down and debris from tires can be dangerous, but less so on a road course. A lot of people screamed bloody murder when Brad just pulled off into the grass for what looked like no good reason. That's what started the whole cautions madness. I wanted to see if those guys in the front had enough fuel to make it to the finish. I understand several would have had to pit with a couple of laps left.
