If you're trading a first for him, you'd be silly not to negotiate an extension with him. There isn't a DT available at #29 that's as good as him. To heck with a manageable salary, it's not your money. A manageable salary for a DT at #29 likely means a mediocre talent. If you have to ask yourself, do you want a force on the line that can help Jordan excel or do you want a place filler that helps the salary cap?
