In case anyone was wondering how well athletes can come back from Hodgkin's lymphoma, consider US Greco-Roman wrestler Jeff Blatnick. Blatnick was diagnosed in 1982. In 1984, he became the first American wrestler to win the heavyweight gold medal at the Summer Olympics.
Consider that Blatnick's lymphoma was caught later than Moreau's, and that treatment has likely advanced considerably in 40 years ( @sammymvpknight ?).
There are no guarantees, but Hodgkins is a more treatable cancer (though of course that’s relative). He’s also young and an elite athlete, which likely counts for something. I’m hopeful that he beats this and is in a Saints uni eventually
