I don't want the entire board chipping in their 2 cents so I'll throw this here and see what you guys think.
Some back story to this. My daughter plays softball and her last bday several girls from her team were over for her party. Somehow old memes and stuff came up and I was showing them a lot of the oldest stuff I remembered like star wars kid. One of the ones I showed them was "chocolate rain" and the song kinda stuck. We were all laughing and everyone was singing it.
Fast forward to this season and the girls have "walk up" music when they go bat. It's about a 20 second clip of a song they pick. I don't agree with it really as it's kinda silly but I will say I know exactly who's batting when the song plays. My daughter uses def Leppard. I told her tonight she should change it to chocolate rain because half her team knows that song and would get the joke. My wife thinks some people may see it as racist and thinks it's a bad idea. As far as I know it's not a racist song but I have no idea how someone else may see it. What do you guys think? My other suggestion was beastie boys brass monkey because that's another song we all have rocked out to a few years ago in my truck. Thoughts and opinions?
