Pick fills a need. There is reason to believe that the player has more upside than what he showed in the last year due to hardships in his family life and the scheme Clemson used. There is a bit of jealously looking at the Eagles picks knowing if we had not made the trades last year we could conceivably had the two players they drafted with our original pick and the Sean Payton pick which by most reasonable standards won draft day. We don't live in that world but it smarts in a way of watching the top team in our conference take full advantage of what we provided. As an organization the clear need was defensive line. It just hurts that the best defensive tackle in the draft went to the team using the draft capital we gave them that was in hindsight higher than the pick they gave us. Olave is a top talent, but I cannot help but see the Eagles running out the championship Georgia defense in the NFL and wish it was the Saints.
