He wasn't good or coming his own. His production drop and his snap count reduced from 58% to 49%.

It's why Johnson jumped from 20% to 60% from 2021 to 2022. Had a mini break out year for himself.

It's probably why they brought in FA TE to replace him.

I’m not pretending like he was amazing, but he was a well rounded TE that was getting better every year. You don’t trade a starter for a prospect.
