Or Juwan Johnson’s blocking could be undersold as well. He’s continuously getting better at it, which is why he stayed on the field more than Trautman. Blocking can only take a starting TE so far if they can’t make plays consistently. A vet TE2 can be signed for that role in a pinch.

The bar isn’t exactly set super high for this trade to become worthwhile but I still have my doubts. We had a need at TE; and it’s not to say we couldn’t use the WR depth too but I feel like this move creates a bigger hole that now desperately needs to be filled.
