This is A Great Draft for the Saints - all 7 picks

I’ve lived long enough as a Saints fan to say, I’ve watched a whole lot of these draft weekends. What sticks out to me right now are a few things;

1) This draft, for whatever reason, fell our way! We have multiple positions needing reinforcements, and we drafted some great prospects!
2) The constant trading up in the early rounds (1-3) seems to, in the end, just create more havoc and long term problems. No doubt that’s just my opinion, but this year we stayed with our assigned pics and everything seemed to flow much better.
3) I have no way to know this, but it just seemed like our entire scouting department was a cut above previous drafts. Time will tell of course, but feels like they left no stone unturned and we’re confident throughout the process.
