Skill positions in mind, I’d have to think Abram Smith will get another NFL shot. He looked really good running the ball for DC.
Max Borghi plays hard. He runs hard and catches the ball well. He’s elusive too. Solid RB for Houston.
Cody Latimer played for Orlando and may get another shot. Was a shining star on a bad team. He moved to TE and would be a receiving TE option worth bringing in.
For the most part TE’s didn’t play a huge receiving roll in the XFL. I agree that Sal Canella is probably a guy that could be looked at as depth.
Hakeem Butler sure looks the part of a big WR who can make plays. He was really good for STL.
Other WRs of note were Jahcour Pearson and Josh Gordon for Seattle. Gordon looked lazy at times. Pearson was a gamer. Former LSU Tiger Jontre Kirklin got off to a great start in Houston. After his injury Houston’s offense fell apart.
AJ McCarron and Ben DeNucci are the QBs who will likely get a look. I heard Sean was bringing DeNucci to Denver. Ta’Amu has made an NFL roster before, maybe he gets another chance. Chances are he will lead the Defenders to the championship in about 10 days.
