Saints sign WR James Washington to one year deal (released on August 15)

I ain't going to be drawn into a Derek Carr debate with someone who has Derick Carr as their profile picture. I never even said he isn't a decent QB. What point of my post do you disagree with exactly? All I said was he isn't exempt from blame if the offense struggles. Many QB's throw for a lot of yards. That's not a great stat to highlight. He has 24 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in his last 2 seasons. Andy Dalton had a higher QB rating than him last season. Does that mean Dalton is better? Of course not. But I don't think I was being out of line by saying nobody will be impressed if he take over our offense and puts up similar numbers. Trust me. If you disagree with that then you are literally making my point for me. If the Raiders were to blame for that, then he won't have an issue having a better season than the last few years.

EARLIER:

He has to prove he is better than what we have seen in recent years
Last season is an outlier because he had McDaniels as Head Coach.

Every time McDaniels leaves New England he ruins a franchise and throws the QB under the Bus.

His rating in 2021 was 94, and in 2020 and 2019 he had ratings over 100. But you said he needed to perform better than in recent years. Outside of having McDaniels as Head coach he has performed very well.
