My wife likes the idea behind an old fashioned but she's tried them a few times and they were way too much for her. She tried making it herself at home and it was horrible then we were out at a nice bar last year and she had a bartender make her one. arse horrible. I tried the one at the bar and even I couldn't drink it....it was like drinking paint thinner. Are they supposed to be basically pure bourbon?
