Corona Drinking Thread (renamed)

It's amazing, this girl never had a rough day in her life...never gave me a damn big vet bill, nothing. The other dog (put down a year ago) was from supposed pristine Euro bloodlines and cost me a ton--she was an English Creme Retriever...but it was a constant health battle with her..even tho she made it to 15.

Breesy girl, the rescue we put down today, made it to nearly 14...a week ago I would have said without hesitation she had several good years left...then boom, her heart had an aggressive growth and it was over so fast. Cherish the time man, it can happen so quick.
Mine unfortunately follows after me. She messed up her back years ago so badly that her back legs stopped working and she was losing control of her functions. 3 vets wanted to put her down and finally a vet at LSU named Dr. Koh used chinese herbs, laser therapy, and acupuncture with electrical impulses and got her walking and running again. Same man got a cow that was paralyzed after a bad calf delivery up and walking. They did a write up in The Reveille about him and my dog was in some pictures

Hartley is so conniving after about 6 weeks of treatment, Dr. Koh told me that the treatment wasn't working and I was like "What are you talking about? She walks for me at home....sure she looks like a drunken sailor on shore leave after a long time at sea (that rear end meandered all over the place) but she is walking again"

Turns out two of the vet techs took a real liking to her so she would pretend she couldn't walk so these two women would carry her everywhere and give her attention
