Boycott Chick fil a?

So explain to me how CFA is using DEI for their public image.

A dude posted they had a DEI officer. Said they should be boycotted as woke.

They have had this position for 3 years. This dude has been in that position for two of them. They made no announcement. In fact I am sure they would have rather the individual would have kept his ignorant mouth shut.

Anyway, please explain how that is CFA’s fault.

And as for where I got the idea you thought it was dumb. I took it straight from you-

“What's the point? Do the overwhelming masses of investors and customers really care that much about DEI scores for companies that provide Chicken and Beer? Am I the only person that finds this all hilariously dumb?” — Infoman

I don’t even know what chopping wood has to do with anything.

I never said it was anyone's fault... I posed a question about Corps making these things public to attract attention / publicity. I have worked for many large Corps that have DEI programs implemented... They don't publicize additions or changes... They don't start marketing campaigns based on them.... My point was to ask - Do the overwhelming masses of investors and customers really care that much about DEI scores for companies that provide Chicken and Beer Cheap bathing suits? Or are they just taking advantage of a marginalized group of people with a visible hot button issue on the table to drum up controversy and attention? If it's the latter... and I think it is... I find it hilariously dumb that people fall for it and boycott. The wood you are chopping is the log of this specific instance... while I am talking about the overall forrest.
