Since we have deviated from the sandwich to actual chicken for a little bit.....The Winn Dixie on Airline in Prairieville has the best-fried chicken I've eaten in a while.

Have you had the fried chicken from the popingo on hwy 44 by the interstate?
We have since moved away but great chicken and fixings, service with a smile. Also much cheaper than the chains.
