I do agree that the existence of ETI is incompatible with the most simplistic Christian theological systems. But ironically, the world of Christian thought is much deeper, wider, & more complex that the average American Joe assumes.

I don’t know of one creedal foundation of Christianity that would be in jeopardy with the revelation of ETI’s existence.

As Mamba stated, it would just evolve, and believers would adapt their beliefs.

...and this is the known universe around 2000 years ago, when the New Testament was written (God lives on Saturn by the way, after his ejection and fall Lucifer lives around the moon, and paradise/the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve lived before their literal fall to earth, is on Venus)...
