Honestly the idea of so many people out there just laughing at them while they were potentially still out there hoping to be rescued before running out of oxygen had become a little darker than what I was comfortable with.. it was this sort of unique situation where you're hoping the people are already dead because it was all so hopeless and guess I'm glad to hear it seems like they already were.
