If you don't know what SoTB is, it stands for South of The Border, the U.S. - MX border. In MX (and I believe the rest of the Spanish speaking world) a billion is a million million.
Another fun SoTB fact: tons in the U.S. are not the same as tons in MX (and most the rest of the world). A U.S. ton (or short ton) is 2000lbs, most everywhere else is 1000 kilos, or 2200+ lbs. There's also the long ton, used in England (entire UK?) that's a few kilos more than 1000 kilos.
