Video captures roller coaster support with major crack in it

In watching the video a couple of more times, I think it’s failing at a weld joint where three different pieces of round structural tubing that have been coped to shape have been welded together. I would imagine there was an initial requirement that all welds had to undergo some sort of non destructive testing (NDT) to prove they were good welds before they could leave the manufacturer. If there is any question about how that was done, and it led to this, then every critical weld on that ride needs to be inspected. That won’t be easy given the nature of the ride. This thing could be down for months, or forever if that is too expensive.
Interesting. I didn't see the video, only the still, and I'm certainly not well-educated (and certainly no expert) in welding. I know just enough to be dangerous proferring opinions.... :hihi:
