PFF - have y'all seen this

On NFL Radio about a week ago, Pat Kirwan and Jimmy Miller were asked about the Saints prospects for 2023. Kirwan said that Saints fans will love Carr until they see him in the red zone, so it made me think that Kirwan posts here under the name @jahsoul357.

Pat also said that, while Carr is a good QB, to put yourself in the shoes of a fan for any of the Saints division rivals… is he so good that they think they won’t have a shot at the division? Both he and Miller said no, which admittedly was a punch in the gut because I like their show and their takes/analysis on the NFL.

As someone said earlier, we have to earn it this year. A QB who has been good but not great, and a HC without a winning season. I’d like to believe we made the right moves to turn it around this year, but we have to go out and win some games before anyone will see us as the clear top team in the NFCS.

To be fair, Carr has absolutely been bad in the red zone. That's not to say he can't improve. It's not to say it is even all his fault (you could certainly say the Saints have a better cache of weapons if all are on the field). But he has definitely been beyond bad in the red zone, especially compared to the rest of the league.
