The 4th oldest roster in the NFL belongs to

Part of the all in strategy was quality over quantity in the draft. I remember hearing about how the Saints were so loaded that they didn't need 10 draft picks. They just needed a few instant impact players to help win now. Well quality over quantity is all well and good but by god you better nail the few picks you have early in the draft. That didn't happen.

The Saints being so loaded that they didn't need to keep their picks was a myth. The roster was never so stacked that they had no use for picks. They didn't have room for drafted players but they had plenty of room for undrafted free agents. Don't try to tell me you have no room for all your picks while your carrying Little Jordan Humphrey on the roster.
This is very true. When you miss on so many 1st round picks, especially when you keep trading up, it really hurts the team. And projects in that round is not a good way to go.
