That seems like the most likely scenario, Peat gets hurt and someone has to step in, possibly Saldiveri.

However, in college he played RG and RT, and he worked at RG this summer.

Also, he’s similar to Ruiz in that he’s more athlete than brawler. He’ll need to finish plays better in the run game. He might would be an upgrade in pass protection, but he won’t be close to Peat in the run game yet (when Peat is healthy).

Hopefully Doug Marrone can give him some fire like he did with Ruiz.
