I don't think anyone is hating anyone on this thread. It's just that for months we've had people saying that he will 100% do time for this. It seemed like people were actively rooting for the "thug" to do jail time for this "despicable act". Like what he did was just so far beyond the pale that he had to do time. Most of us were like what? He beat up a dude and he'll pay said dude a lot of money and that'll be it. We've seen this movie so many times before but the ending was going to be different this time.
Add to that the fact that we had people swearing up and down that they had seen the video and said that AK will absolutely go to jail months before any video was released. The people that saw this mysterious video made it seem like AK beat him down, poured gas on his twitching body, and then delivered a cold blooded one liner before lighting a match and dropping it on the poor guy. Then the video comes out and it's nothing like that. Like not even close. You could barely make out what was happening.
So many people turned on AK so quickly. I just wonder how they are going to handle it when he scores 3 TDs and dominates a game. Will they cheer for him or will they sit on their hands because they have morals and AK let them down?
