My wife and I are scheduled for an International "1 stop" this Saturday with Air Canada.
First we Fly out of Philadelphia International on Air Canada Express.....arriving in Toronto less than 2 hours later
*
3 hours and 15 minutes after arriving in Toronto's (YYZ) Airport we are scheduled to get on another Air Canada flight to our ultimate destination which is Copenhagen Denmark.
*
So, here is the reason for my OP thread: What happens once we arrive at Toronto and step off the plane?
GOOGLE search results say that our bags are checked thru and we just have to walk through the airport and find our next gate.
My Travel agent agrees that the bags should be checked thru ( and we better make sure) but she says we'll have to "go through security, customs, etc".
Are the Google search results correct or is the Travel Agent correct?
I told the Travel Agent: "I KNOW we'll have to go through everything in Copenhagen Denmark but in Canada we are not really ENTERING Canada, we are staying in the airport and just connecting to a new plane."
She didn't back down but said "usually you WILL do "security, customs, etc. in BOTH countries".

So there you have it. Two completely different answers. What say all of you?
