Bronny James (Lebron's son) suffered on court cardiac arrest

Just me speculating, but my thought is basketball puts a lot more stress on cardio than just about any other sport I can think of. The constant changing directions, running on hard floors and testing the limits of cardio frequently can put more stress on the heart which in turn exposes any abnormalities in the heart.

Taller people have to work harder to keep up and run with shorter people, so I'd think that contributes as well.
I was thinking the same, but think about the stress on the hearts of linemen. 300+ pound men who can squat over 500 pounds exploding out of a low stance with all their force and then making contact with another player of similar size and strength in direct opposition over and over about 75 times a game with 100% effort and intensity
And for pure cardio effort, look at soccer players
