Bronny James (Lebron's son) suffered on court cardiac arrest

I was thinking the same, but think about the stress on the hearts of linemen. 300+ pound men who can squat over 500 pounds exploding out of a low stance with all their force and then making contact with another player of similar size and strength in direct opposition over and over about 75 times a game with 100% effort and intensity
And for pure cardio effort, look at soccer players
Sure, but there ain't no seven foot tall soccer players. :hihi: And while there's a lot of running in soccer, there are a lot more lulls than basketball. As for football, the contact itself doesn't put much stress on cardio and its not like they're constantly running up and down the court at speed. Also, football players don't normally play both sides of the ball, which is also different from basketball.

I've played all of those sports extensively and nothing compares to basketball imo as far as cardio. The intensity level stays higher for longer periods of time. It's just a different thing imo.

All that said, we still don't yet know what caused the issue with Bronny, so I'm curious to see what the cause was, or if they even figure it out.
