Cam Jordan signs a 2 year/$27.5M extension fully guaranteed

If he can amass maybe 10-15 more career sacks, I like his future HOF chances even more then I do now. If it were up to me, Jordan is a HOFer, but I know there are many voters, commentators, writers with agendas who will view Jordan's career more critically than how we do and always will. I don't want Cameron Jordan to suffer a similar fate as Jared Allen, who has 136.5 career sacks and who retired following the 2015 season, and is still waiting almost 8 years later to get in.

Honestly, if I'm Cam, the more sacks you can humanly get over the next 2-3 seasons would bode well for his HOF chances. And I have no doubt he's capable of achieving it.

I think Cam finishes in or just outside of top 10 all time sacks when he hangs it up in 3 years. I’m hoping he gets to 140-143 around Jason Taylor and LT range so he won’t have to wait long. Feels like he has one more double digit sack year in him to show he belongs in the HOF on his way out. Then the other 2 seasons would be 5-8 sack seasons.

Cam’s always been known for being a top elite run stopper as a complete DE unlike some other all time sack leaders. He has a strong ballot for run defense and 135+ sacks that he likely finishes with.
