Jon Gruden as replacement OC?

Could say that about any season. They finished 2nd in yards and 3rd in points, which maintained the standard the team had set offensively. They did it in a season of turmoil where I think few people would have been shocked had the bottom completely fallen out. Carmichael has been good on other occasions, too, and obviously won over Payton's trust, and the organization's trust, to have stuck around all this time.

Mostly, though, I'm waiting to see what he can do with the roster he has this year. I completely soured on Dalton pretty early into last season and I expect Carr to be a meaningful upgrade. I'm optimistic about WR, TE, and RB and keeping fingers crossed about the OL.
I just remember us losing a bunch of games due to craziness. Crap, Drew was losing games throwing interceptions, the safety that allowed the Chiefs to tie (even though Jamaal Charles trashed our defense. He was so freaking good), the 2 pick-6 game, the Falcons game, getting blown out by the Broncos and Giants. It was just craziness.
