Of course, but I've seen the comparison made other times and it's an important distinction that Allen wasn't brought in on an advisory role, he was hired to join the coaching staff and to work alongside Ryan. I'm not ruling anything out but I'm also not anticipating anything there, either, because I don't think there's enough to go on to say one way or the other.
My hope is that Carmichael gets it going because if he does, that could alleviate an offensive coaching carousel that other defensive head coaches have to deal with.
