That they aren't doing shoot and scoot any more tells me that they have destroyed so many Russian guns in this early stage of the counter offensive, that they now have earned the luxury of being able to place an anti drone grid over a gun they leave where it is set up and dialed in for real counter battery accuracy.
Now that they have achieved this battlefield luxury their counter battery performance will improve, and they'll destroy even more Russian guns. It's a cascade.
This is NATO tactics realizing dividends.
