Saints hosted RB Kareem Hunt and LB Anthony Barr (Upd: Hunt leaves Colts/Vikings visits w/ no deal; Giants cancel Barr visit)

Can someone explain the injury concerns with Barr? Outside of 2020, he's averaged double digit games his entire career. Even with his injuries, he still averages 12.4 games a season his entire career. He even played 14 games last season.

2020 season​

He was placed on injured reserve on September 21, 2020, after suffering a torn pectoral muscle in Week 2. He missed the last 14 games of the season.

2021 season​

In March, the team [Vikings] reworked his contract and was allowed to become a free agent at the end of the season. In August, he underwent a surgery procedure for an injury he suffered in his right knee during training camp. He missed the first four games of the season, while recovering from the knee injury. In the ninth game against the San Diego Chargers, he was declared inactive. In the eleven game against the San Francisco 49ers, he suffered a right hamstring injury. He missed the following game against the Detroit Lions. He finished with 3 interceptions, 2.5 sacks, and 3 tackles for loss.

Dallas Cowboys​

On August 3, 2022, Barr signed with the Dallas Cowboys. He was acquired to provide depth at the linebacking corps. In the eighth game against the Chicago Bears, he suffered a hamstring strain injury late in the second quarter. He missed the following three games against the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants. He wasn't re-signed after the season.
