Jake Haener

For one, I am in the middle of everyone's opinion here. I like some things Heaner did and there are things he needs to learn. NFL games are a different beast. Defense will come a lot faster and are very deceptive. The interception throw was actually a very good throw that was well played by the defense. He needs to not try to throw like a 10 year veterans until he understand NFL defenses first. For a guy who has a "weak arm" he sure throw a zip. He gets rid of the ball fast, which I love. The roll out to the right to hit Merriweather for that touchdown is not as easy as it look on tv. Good job by Haener. It is a mix bag with Haener yesterday. He still has a lot to learn. But so far I like his competitiveness. He does look angry out there. Needs to relax a little bit.
