Grown Men don’t obsess over a single player with their friends and continually try and allude to how he was treated or why he should be a starter or whatever is the point of that day about their favourite player. It’s obsession that teenagers have that no matter what anyone is talking about, they are so absorbed by their infatuation with this person that they must bring it up during every topic.

I’m not trying to insult you or your buddies but I’m going to take the stand for the other people on here that don’t want to ruffle the feathers.

We just don’t need snide comments alluding to how unfair Winston was treated. We don’t need stats from 2015 comparing him to now and we don’t need to go over the minutia of 2022 any further. There is 100% a pattern of threads getting steered in that direction by a few posters on here. And it makes things very frustrating for the posters that want to discuss the topic at hand.

A grown man would probably get the message by now that it’s time to move on. But here it is spelt out for you.

Let’s focus on the season at hand abs the players that the thread is dedicated to.

If we can just stop this overbearing obsession with comparing backwards, and just focus on the positives of this season and the players or topics within the thread, I think we all will find things alot more enjoyable on here.
No not this time, it’s one of your other buddies, the 4 of you which we all know do this. Just saying it’s getting really frustrating and then you all come in with comments and what not, it’s clear as day
You really said all this like you didn't create a thread off of a passive aggressive post

You got to love to see it.

Carr and the first team looked very much on same page and look like they have been really putting in the work. Execution looked great.

Winston had a great first from inside the Chiefs 50, moved the ball well when he used his feet and found the Endzone on some good passes to Perry. That being said we know what we get with him no matter if we want to put blinders on, there are some decision issue and total lack of ability to ply under pressure or the blitz, however he was smart with the ball in those situations. All in all a great couple drives and some ugly ones too but it’s week one. It is pretty clear the drop off to the second team depth and from Carr to Winston however.

Haener played well I thought. Had good ball placement and zip on the ball. But had to fight a slew of dropped passes that’s forsure! A bad interception trying to force a play on 3rd and long! First NFL game though, he showed some good stuff. And ultimately he led the team down the field to score the game tying/winning TD had the Center not botched the snap on the convert try!

All in all our O looks a lot better than last year and to see all QBs find the Endzone is very encouraging!
This underhanded post to start a thread invalidated all of the posturing that you are attempting. That being said.

Anyways back to topic at hand, how do we see the play time split up for QBs this game? Will Haener get another full half?
I think that it will probably be more of the same as we saw last game or Winston might get a quarter and Haener will finish the game.
